Factory audit:
Our Factory Audit focus on the inspection on site of the integrated or non-integrated production plan of your supplier, the office and management, and the quality of the raw materials. Greenwire will provide you a full report to help you choose a supplier that suit your need the best. Factory Audit can make you learn about your supplier’s:

- Reliability, and compliance with various technology

- Quality management systems (QMS) implementation and health

Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI):
Pre-Shipment Inspection allows us to detect and replace any defects right after the manufacturing process. Avoid paying for any PV components that carry defects. Once your order is ready but before you send the balance payment to the factory, Greenwire will schedule an appointment with the factory and send a team on site to inspect the panels without delaying the shipment . We then inspect your PV as follows:
- 100% EL test and Flash test review
- 8% visual inspection using EL test, Flash test and Infre-red camera on a random sampling
- 2% mechanical test including measurement on thickness, weight and dimensions
Any defects found will be documented and evaluated according to the Minimum Quality Cap (MQC). Based on the analysis of results, Greenwire will determine if your ordered PV components have passed or failed the inspection. We will send you a detailed inspection report within 2 working days.
Inline Inspection (II):
Greenwire Inline Inspection allows you to monitor your PV being produce during all steps of the manufacturing process. Usually combined with the Pre-Shipment Standard Inspection (PSI), the Inline Inspection is useful for orders involving over 2MW and start on the first day of production with our engineer present on site.
Our Inline Inspection include:
- Raw material conformity with BOM
- Compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Review and optimization of factory control system
- Tracking of defects and reworks
- Overall monitoring of production defects
Inspecting your PV components during manufacturing stage offers several advantages:
EL test Review (ELR):
Remove 100% of serious micro cracks from your PV shipments using Electroluminescence (EL) testing . An EL test is the scaning of the solar panel, similar to an X-ray works. This helps us to see through the invisibles defects.
Reviewing the EL test allow you to :
- Replace panels that have micro-cracks and dead cells before shipping
- Increase yield on your power plant and installation
- Get a better insight on the global quality of your PV order before shipment occurs
Being able to see through the cells of the panels allows us to see any cracks in the cells, dead cells, and low-quality cells. If any of the previous defects occurs, we would replace the panel directly at the factory.
Usually in a solar panel manufacturing process, your manufacturer will operate 3 different El tests thorough the process. The first test is right after the cell lines have been assembled. The second test is just after the lamination process, which is a stressful treatment for the panels due to the pressure and heat. The third test is done at the end when the solar panel has been finished.
Greenwire reviews 100% of all the EL tests done after the solar panels have been finished. It allows you to know that the replacement is done at the end of the process so that the solar panel will not have any more problem with any upcoming treatment.
